Reversal bill rejected

State Parliament has voted against the Reef Regulation Reversal Bill.

A parliamentary vote on Tuesday evening saw Katter’s Reef Regulation Reversal Bill rejected. Referring to the decision, AgForce’s Reef Taskforce Chair Alex Stubbs said he was extremely disappointed and called for the establishment of an independent office to ensure the science that underpins regulations is current. “The current reef regulations are based on outdated science….
